    Q:  How do I change my username/password?
      A:  You can't change your username, here's why:
    Your username is a unique identifier that represents you on EquestrianSingles.com. It is used in many areas of the site including your profile and the chat rooms. Changing your username would interrupt the accuracy of the data on the site and possibly cause a lot of confusion among members who associated with your old username that has since been changed.

    • Any location or descriptive information that threatens a memberís anonymity
    • Abusive language of any kind (i.e., vulgarity, racism)
    • Discussion or descriptions of illegal acts or behavior (i.e., drug use, violence)
    • Business or political advertisements or solicitations
    • Material that exploits or solicits personal information from individuals under the age of 18
    • Foreign languages (to effectively monitor profiles, they must be in English)

    Q:  I've created a profile, but it doesn't show up when I search.
      A:  If your profile isn't appearing, check the following: Login, then go to Edit Profile and make sure the information you filled in is present.

    Click on Submit Profile. Also, please note that it takes up to 24 hours to post after you have submitted your profile. If you've already tried these suggestions and still have questions, please contact us and we'll be happy to help you.

    Q:  What are the guidelines for posting a photo?
      A:  When you create a profile, you can post as many photos of yourself as you'd like. You can upload images directly from your computer or mail us a photograph, and weíll scan it for free (limit 2 photos). Visit Manage Photos for more information.
    • Choose a solo shot for your main profile photo.
    • Photos of cartoon characters or celebrities are copyrighted and cannot be posted.
    • Nudity, obscenity, sexual or otherwise offensive photos will not be posted.
    • EquestrianSingles may choose not to post any photo at their sole discretion.
    • We accept most image formats (e.g Jpg, Gif, Bmp, Png and others).
    • Image files can be no larger than 3,000KB (3MB).

    Q:  How do I post a photo?
      A:  EquestrianSingles.com makes it easy for you, by offering 2 ways to post a photo.

    Upload a Photo

    To upload a photo directly from your computer, simply go to the Manage Photos, and follow the instructions. Please Note:
    • We accept most image formats (e.g Jpg, Gif, Bmp, Png and others).
    • Your photo file must be under 3,000KB for the upload to work properly.
    Once approved, uploaded photos will be posted exactly as they are submitted. Be sure to crop your photo if necessary before uploading it. Due to the volume of photos that we receive, it may take 24-72 hours for your photo to appear on your profile.

    Mail a Photo

    You may send your photo to us by traditional mail for our FREE scanning and posting service. To speed up the process, please follow these guidelines:
    • Limit 2 photos
    • We suggest photos no larger than 5"x7" and no smaller than 2"x2".
    • Please write your First and Last name, Username, EquestrianSingles.com registered email address and birthdate on the back of your photo.
    • Indicate if you would like this to be your main profile photo.
    • If you send a group photo, please let us know who you are in the photo
    NOTE: If you wish to have your photo returned, please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

    We regret that shipments from private messenger services such as FedEx or UPS cannot be delivered to a P.O. Box. The fastest method for sending your photo(s) is through the U.S. Postal Service's "Express" or "Priority Mail." To avoid a significant delivery delay, you MUST CHECK the "no signature required" box.

      A:  If you're having trouble with your Billing Information not being accepted or saved, it could be for a few reasons:
    • Incorrect/Invalid credit card number

    Q:  What is Search?
      A:  Our Search tool will let you run your own customized searches as often as you wish. Define and run an unlimited number of searches by selecting the preferences and characteristics of your desired match. Play around and try a variety of searches. You never know where you'll find your perfect match!

    Q:  Why am I not not getting very many/any responses? What could be wrong?
      A:  Want to increase your chances of getting a response? Post a photo. Research shows that profiles with photos are 8 times more likely to receive a response. Also, when contacting other members, remember to tell more about yourself and ask questions. This gives your potential match even more reason to write back.

    Q:  Will I still be able to initiate mail if I cancel my Premium membership?
      A:  You will still be allowed to use the site for the remainder of your term for which you have paid. For example, if you subscribe for one month on February 1st and you resign on February 15th of the same year, you would be able to initiate mail correspondence until March 1st.

    Q:  If my Premium membership expires, will I still be able to receive and respond to mail in my Mailbox?
      A:  No. Once your Premium membership expires, you'll no longer have access to your Mailbox. Your mail will still be there, but you'll need to become Premium again to read it and reply to it.

    Q:  If my membership is Free, will my profile still show up when users run searches?
      A:  Yes. Your profile remains active unless unless you "hide" your profile, then it will not show up when a user performs a search.

    Q:  The EquestrianSingles.com site seems to be slow.
      A:  If you're having trouble with the speed of our site, it's usually one of three things:
    • EquestrianSingles.com may be experiencing technical difficulty, please try again later.
    • The connection on your end may be the cause. Double-check your modem settings or connection speed to make sure you're connected at the highest possible internet connection rate.
    • The internet itself may be experiencing a traffic jam - try again at another time when the information highway may not be so heavily traveled.
