Dixie is my appy aka Joker's Party Princess (she's got Prince Plaudit and Joker B in her pedigree)

Chaka - came named... I've no idea where the previous owner got it? He spelled it Shocka....I altered the spelling. I don't need any hotwired horses! LOL

Chaka's colt is Zephyr - it means west wind. I was hoping he'd make a speed horse since his daddy is a Three Bars bred paint...figured that would make a good name when he's famous like Bozo or Scamper ;)

The mare I have now is a big red dunn (breeding stock only paint...no papers) and her name is "Sugar". Her sire is Brass Reflection (APHA Red Dunn Overo) and her dam is Hey Cinderella (AQHA chestnut).

This is a fun topic.

I have a 7 year old paint gelding named Roscoe aka Roscoe P Coaltrain. Name fits him well.

12 year old QH gelding is Harley aka Sturgis Honey Oh. I decided to name him Harley since he came from Sturgis, South Dakota and his registered name has Sturgis in it also.

18 year old mare QH is Sugar aka Sugarbritches. She came with that name. Fits her on most occasions.

Then there is my QH Filly. She is Bob Acre Doc/Peptoboonsmal filly, so I named her Pepper since she is very roany. Just seemed fitting for her.

I forgot to mention: my girls sire is out of "Neemeemoocougarpaws". Try saying that in one breath. She goes by Cougar as she killed one that had attacked her in the mountains.

My first horse was named Daddys Flirtation ... as in an "unplanned pregnancy" lol. The horse I have now is "Gadget", thats the name he came with & its perfect for him, always nosing around & getting into mischief.

Peaches aka Nemesis Project. Saw her the first day and she ended up being Peaches right then (was a peachy sort of red dun color then I guess!) She fits BOTH names on alternate days (also known as p---head to a former trainer).

Sunny (Sunny Lil Rio). Day 2, two of us out in the pen looking her over, and both blurted out "Sunny" at the same time. Go figure. It fits her perfectly... except there have been a number of times she is a real "Angel"...

Lil, Parrs Lil... came with the name, but often she gets called Lulubelle. Ya gotta know her to get it :) I can't describe it here without a TOS

And the last one, yearling, with NO NAME. *sigh*. No matter what's been thought of or tried, nothing sticks :( Or fits. :P Registered name wasn't easy either so fudged it with... that is "Definitly Something". I guess I'll find out who or what she is eventually LOL

There's been others-- Real Impact who should have been named "No Impact"-- ultimately got the nick of "Pokey" (which fit).
His partner in crime "Speedy" who wasn't Speedy really, except when he was little he'd sometimes find himself getting crowded between 2 grumpy mares and would shoot out from between them like toothpaste out of a stepped-on tube (hence the name "Speedy") Speedy was quick in the brains dept though. Between those two (paints) one mostly dark and the other mostly white, also called "Inverse" and "Obverse".

Moose (who was formerly known as Uglee) his face resembled a cross between a moose and a mule.He was a good stick though

Parrmie, short for "Parrmadillo"- had a white armadillo on his forehead.

Ace-- short for Acehole, and no, he was NOT a good hand LOL

Shorty, who of course was 16hh+

Spook, who had two neon blue eyes... which were spookier looking than average.

how could I forget "Joe", reg name "Average Joe". Sire's name was Joe something and he was a solid paint... can you believe the name wasn't taken? LOL

There's more, but help with that poor nameless yearling would be appreciated :D :D
