The recent fires in Southeastern Oregon have been devastating for cattle as well as our wild horse herds. The nearly 700,000 acres that burned now will be closed as grazing land for three years while the grasslands are rehabilitated. This leaves many ranchers with displaced herds and no feed for the cattle as well as for the Kiger's in the HMA's
