Giving this another go. Been gone awhile, and I just had to see who those 6 messages were from. ES seems to have dropped their price and made it awfully cheap to subscribe.
I was pretty excited when I found this site- thought I was gonna meet all kinds of people who were into riding and interested in rural life. Truth is, there's really no one here. 22 girls in my age bracket that have logged on in the last month in the whole state of Nevada. Only 9 in Utah! Arizona is a little better with 63, but they all seem to live in that big Pheonix mess and just want to ride in an arena. Lots in So. CA, but lots of "none currently" there. You'd think someone down there in all that smog and sprawl would want to get their dreams past the computer screen!
I'm the guy that's too busy doing it to write much, or take many pictures. Sorry, I like to ride them. Spent the month of October on a 500 mile pack trip-traveled the length of Nevada the old way. Just me with my 2 favorite mares and a puppy dog.
Now I'm working on heading to the other ranch to stay. The last biggest adventure, my end game. I'd like to find a partner and companion to come along but more and more I'm thinking she's already there, wondering what took me so long.

Guess what I'm really looking for is a gal that's interested in living on a ranch-and I don't mean 5 acres on the edge of a city. Someone who values peace and quiet, solitude and freedom. Enjoys waking up to the rest of the living things in the world besides other people. Gets a sense of satisfaction and independence from living light on the land and not being just another ant in the hill.....
